Price, escrow and the handover
The money and the name never cross at the same moment in the same hands. An independent escrow service sits between us and lets go of each only when the other side has done its part.
One figure
Every name has one price. It is given in writing when you ask, it is the same for a sole trader and for a regional group, and it does not climb because you replied quickly.
The buyer pays no commission. Escrow services charge their own fee, set by them and scaled to the price; the agreement says whether we split it or one side carries it.
If the figure does not work for you, say so. Sometimes it can move a little, sometimes not, and you will be told which plainly.
How long each part takes
A few days
Mostly the time it takes your side to read one page and sign it.
A few working days
A bank wire or card clears with the escrow service, which then confirms to both of us.
Hours to about a week
A move inside one registrar is quick; between registrars it can take several days.
A short window
You confirm the name shows in your account and resolves. Then escrow pays out.
What you need on your side
- A registrar account. Any mainstream registrar works; the one that already holds your current address is simplest.
- Someone who can sign. The owner, or whoever signs contracts of this size for the company.
- A way to pay the escrow service. Wire transfer is the usual route; the service lists what else it accepts.
Questions buyers ask
Is the name really yours to sell?
Yes. It is registered in our account, and the escrow service will not release a cent until it sits in yours.
Will our email or website break?
No. A new address changes nothing until you point it somewhere. Your current mail and site carry on as they are.
Can we pay over time?
Sometimes. Escrow services can hold a name while it is paid in instalments. Ask, and we will say what is possible for that name.
Who else learns we bought it?
Nobody from us. What the public registration record shows afterwards is up to you and your registrar.

Send the address you have in mind. You will have the price in writing, and nothing else is asked of you until you decide.
